105 Days of Glory

On 17.8.2010 by Antti Lepistö

The Finnish Winter War lasted 105 days. It was a desperate and tragic campaign against overwhelming Soviet forces during WW2. As a result, Finland kept its independence and did not fall under Soviet occupation.

The series of images to come will be my tribute to the men and women of the Winter War. The first image is called Farewell, brothers and is heavily inspired by the starting scene from the movie Unknown Soldier
