Hello Unity3D

I’m just blown away how awesome Unity3D is. I’ve known about it for some time but it’s always felt like one of those monster engines I can’t wrap my mind around. How wrong could I’ve been… Model some planes in Blender, export it as .obj and drag into Unity. Add a 1st person controller and you’ve got yourself a game. Next I’ll look into bringing fully animated characters into Unity.

Look around with mouse, move with W,A,S,D and jump with Space bar. Right-click to go fullscreen (and Esc to get out). Click outside the movie to change the focus back to browser window. Click to view the demo. (I decided to move the Unity examples into another page since the Unity plugin seems to reluctantly pass the focus back to the browser window in some browsers.)

You’ll need to install the Unity plugin to view this. For those who won’t/can’t, here’s a sneak peak.
